In their teenage years, Nathalie and Louise's friendship becomes something more than either expected, a relationship based on love and passion. But Nathalie's flirtatious habits towards men causes Louise to end things and both go their separate ways. After ten years, a chance encounter brings them back into each other's lives. Louise is now a dentist and Nathalie a successful stage actress, and both are in relationships with men. But the love that brought them together in the first place resurfaces once again and the two women soon rekindle their former romance...but with dramatic consequences.
